C Carlos Corporan was removed from the 40-Man Roster, cleared waivers and was outrighted to Oklahoma City. He can chose to become a free agent.
The 40-Man Roster now stands at 37 in advance of the Rule 5 draft. I still believe that Houston will protect Kody Hinze, particularly after showcasing him in the Arizona Fall League. And I've noted previously that I would take a good long look at protecting Dayan Diaz after his comeback from injury that caused him to be named an Organizational All-Star by MiLB.
