Diory Hernandez went 2 for 5 with a double, two RBI's and scored a run for the Gigantes and Rhiner Cruz retired his one batter faced. The Gigantes are now 5-6 in the playoffs.

*Robinson Cancel was 1 for 3 with a walk and an RBI for Ponce. Mayaguez is leading the series 2-1 in a best of 5; the winner will play Caguas in the finals.

Brandon Barnes cooled off at the plate with an 0 for 4 night with two strikeouts. He's now only hitting .341. (I'll take that!)
The Mexican Pacific League had the night off, and no Astros played in last night's games in Venezeula.
