Astros Minor League Player and Pitchers of the Week

It's time to look back at Week 21 and acknowledge some winning performances for the week commencing Sunday, August 17th and continuing through Saturday, August 23rd. The final Player and Pitchers of the Week post will come out next Wednesday and will include the final nine days of the regular season.

C Max Stassi (Oklahoma City)
.333/.400/.833 in 5 games
5R 3HR 5RBI 2BB 5K

My runner up and winner not only excelled but did so playing in all seven games for the week. First my runner up ~

OF Brett Phillips (Lancaster)
.393/.438/.607 in 7 games
6R 6-2B 3RBI 2BB 4SO 3SB 1CS

Phillips SIX doubles for the week is definitely an overachievement and my winner barely beat him out. The deciding factor was his THREE outfield assists for the week. That was just enough to put him over the top.

OF James Ramsay (Quad Cities)
.400/.429/.680 in 7 games
3R 2-2B 3B HR 6RBI 2BB 6SO 3SB 1CS
3 Outfield Assists
