Astros Minor League Roster Moves, July 1-7

The new month has brought about roster movement in the system. This post will cover moves made in the Houston Astros organization between July 1 and July 7

FRESNO GRIZZLIES
7/5: LHP Mitch Lambson traded to the Atlanta organization
7/5: OF Domingo Santana optioned to Fresno
7/1: IF Tyler White assigned to Fresno from Corpus Christi
7/1: RHP Dan Straily recalled to Houston to start on Friday @ Boston

CORPUS CHRISTI HOOKS
7/6: IF Jack Mayfield assigned from Lancaster to Corpus Christi
7/5: RHP Scott Feldman began rehab assignment
7/5: C Roberto Peña placed on temporarily inactive list
7/5: LHP Josh Hader placed on temporarily inactive list
7/2: LHP Reymin Guduan assigned from Lancaster to Corpus Christi
7/2: RHP Michael Feliz optioned to Corpus Christi
7/2: OF Brandon Meredith activated from 7-day DL
7/1: RHP Joe Musgrove placed on the 7-day DL

Peña and Hader will be participating in the 2015 Pan American Games from Toronto. It's like the Olympics, but only involves the countries in North America and South America. Peña will represent Puerto Rico, while Hader is on Team USA.

7/5: LHP Jordan Mills assigned to Lancaster from Quad Cities
7/3: LHP Evan Grills activated from the 7-day DL

TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS
7-2: RHP Zac Grotz assigned from Greeneville to Tri-City

GREENEVILLE ASTROS
7-3: RHP Jose Montero began rehab assignment
7-3: RHP Andrew Thome assigned to Greeneville from the GCL
7-2: 1B Hector Roa assigned to Greeneville from Tri-City
7-2: RHP Joselo Pinales assigned to Greeneville from Tri-City

GCL ASTROS
7/3: IF Rodrigo Ayarza assigned to the GCL from Greeneville
7/3: OF Daz Cameron assigned to the GCL.
7/1: RHP Thomas Eshelman, the Astros' 2nd-round pick out of Cal State Fullerton, formally signed his contract with the Astros and was assigned to the Gulf Coast League.
7/1: RHP Andrew Thome assigned to the GCL

DSL ASTROS 
7/3: OF Edgar Lorenzo assigned to the DSL Blue team from the GCL.
7/1: RHP Carlos Pizzolato assigned to the DSL Orange team.
