Also, I would like to tip my hat to Mr. Ian Madden, who is the father of RHP Lachlan Madden for this roster announcement: In a recent e-mail that he sent to me, Mr. Madden informed me that Lachlan was named to the Australian team that will be playing at the inaugural Under-21 Baseball World Cup, which will take place in Taichung, Taiwan, from November 7-16. In addition to Lachlan, 1B Connor MacDonald and 2B Jared Cruz were named to Team Australia. Cruz, 19, was acquired by the Astros on September 4 as the PTBNL from the Braves to complete the Andrew Robinson trade that occurred on July 3.
