PUERTO RICAN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

Ponce over Mayaguez 9-6
*Robinson Cancel was 2 for 2 with three walks and two runs scored for Ponce.  *Ryan-Rowland Smith had a rough night.  He got the start for Ponce but only lasted two-thirds of an inning with five hits, four runs, one walk and one strikeout.  The best of 5 series is tied at 2-2.  The winner of tonight's game will go on to play Caguas.

DOMINICAN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

Licey over Gigantes 8-0
Henry Villar pitched one inning for Licey with a walk and a strikeout.  For the Gigantes, Diory Hernandez went 0 for 2 with a walk, and Enerio del Rosario pitched one inning with one hit.  Licey is now 7-6 in the playoffs and the Gigantes are 5-7.

VENEZUELAN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

La Guaira over Magallanes 11-3
Sergio Escalona pitched one inning for La Guaira and struck out all three batters.  La Guaira is now 5-3 in the playoffs.

MEXICAN PACIFIC LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

Guasave over Culiacan 4-3
Brad Snyder was 0 for 4 with a walk and a strikeout for Guasave.  Guasave leads Culiacan 1-0 in the semifinals.

AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE

Sydney over Adelaide 12-7
After a disappointing 0 for 4 in the last game, Brandon Barnes came back nicely in this one.  He was 3 for 5 with a double, three RBI's, a strikeout and scored a run.  He's now back up to a .356 BA.
