Spring Training Update

Tuesday consisted of two split squad games. The first was called after six innings due to rain, but not before Jordan Lyles got roughed up to the tune of six runs in two innings. The second game went just a tad bit better  with the offense showing some serious power. Robbie Grossman doubled; Rick Ankiel and Trevor Crowe had triples; and Jason Castro and Brett Wallace both homered in the win.

Game 4 Minor League Standout: None.

Spring Training Game 5 Results: Astros (SS) 9, Detroit 4
Game 5 Minor League Standout: Robbie Grossman continues to impress with a double and two RBI in this game; he's hitting a brisk .571 so far this spring. LHP Kevin Chapman provided a perfect inning of relief.
