DOMINICAN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS
Gigantes over Licey 3-2
Diory Hernandez went 1 for 4 with a strikeout for the Gigantes. Enerio del Rosario pitched two-thirds of an inning and gave up one hit, and Rhiner Cruz pitched one-third of an inning with no hits or walks and was awarded the win for Gigantes. The Gigantes have improved their record in the round robin playoffs to 7-7.
VENEZUELAN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS
Magallanes over Zulia 11-2
Gabriel Garcia pitched two-thirds of an inning for Magallanes with one strikeout. The Magallanes are now 4-6 in the playoffs.
AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE
Sydney over Adelaide 10-3
Brandon Barnes resumed his RBI parade as he went 1 for 3 with two RBI's, a walk, two strikeouts and scored two runs for the Sydney Blue Sox.
The Mexican Pacific League and the Puerto Rican League both had the night off.
