FORMER ASTROS FARMHAND UPDATE

News came out this week that a couple of former Astros who were playing in Independent ball found new homes back in affiliated baseball. RHP Josh Zeid signed with the Mets and is currently assigned to the AA Binghamton Mets. And RHP Travis Ballew's contract was purchased by the Marlins.

CHECKING IN WITH BRADY RODGERS

This was the final interview I conducted in my recent trip to the left coast. Admittedly, I was tired and not at my best. I even forgot to ask Brady one of the questions that was actually on my written list. I was going to ask him about his scheduled start later today as he faces off against Tim Lincecum! How did I forget that? Anyway, there will be more interviews to come from the trip, and I'll certainly be checking in on Brady Rodgers as he faces off against The Freak and wishing him the best.

  1. Brady Rodgers along with Musgrove, Paulino and Martes are going to provide a formidable rotation for the Astros in the coming years. Rodgers is a beast!
