This Houston native and Texas A&M alumni was drafted in 2011 in the 36th round. Gonzalez barely got his feet wet, playing in only 13 games for the GCL Astros. He hit .250 with an OBP of .333. His batting average improved to .333 with runners on and .400 with runners in scoring position.
