Gigantes over Licey 9-1
In a bit of a twist, Jimmy Paredes got a start in left field and went 2-5 with two RBI's and a strikeout and scored two runs for the Gigantes. In glancing at the recap, it appears that he didn't get much action recording only one out at that position. Also for the Gigantes team, Diory Hernandez was 2-4 with two RBI's, and Erick Abreu pitched two-thirds of an inning with one hit, no runs and no walks. This was the Gigantes first win in the round robin playoffs. They are now 1-3.
Escogido over Aguilas 8-3
Anuery Rodriguez got the start for Escogido, pitching 4.1 innings with ten hits, two runs, no walks and five strikeouts. Escogido is 4-0 in the round robin playoffs.
