VENEZUELAN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS
Magallanes over Aragua 3-2
Gabriel Garcia retired his one batter faced for Magallanes. Sergio Perez got the start for Aragua, pitching 4.1 innings with five hits, two runs, three walks and three strikeouts and was charged with the loss. Magallanes is now 1-2 in the round robin playoffs, and Aragua is 1-1.
AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE
Canberra over Sydney 7-1
Brandon Barnes was 1-3 for Sydney.
