2B Jean Carlos Cortorreal (18)
Cortorreal signed as a NDFA from the Dominican Republic and is spending his first season as a professional with the DSL Astros. In his first 24 games, he is hitting .186/.255/.186 but that's mainly because he's gone 0-for July. In 17 games in June, he hit .286/.355/.286.

RHP Jason Jennings (34) aka He Who Must Not Be Named
A first round pick by the Rockies in 1999, Tim Purpura in his infinite wisdom obtained Jennings in a trade with the Rockies for Willie Taveras, Taylor Buchholz and Jason Hirsh in December 2006 without adequately checking out his medical records (he had been playing injured before the trade). In 19 games (18 starts) for Houston, he was 2-9 with a 6.45 ERA and a 1.545 WHIP. But it was his seventh loss that is forever etched in my mind.
