Lara over Magallanes 6-3
RHP Sergio Perez (L, 3-1) got the start and his first loss of the season as he allowed five runs on four hits and four walks in four and two-thirds innings pitched for Magallanes. LHP Gabriel Garcia pitched two-thirds of an inning and allowed two hits and no runs with one strikeout.
Caracas over Aragua 7-5
Brandon Barnes got another start in left field for Caracas and went 1-for-2 with three walks, scored a run and was caught stealing. 2B Jose Martinez went 3-for-4 with a double and scored a run for Aragua and is now hitting .302.
Caribes over La Guaira 4-3
Jake Goebbert got a start in right field and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in his second game with the Caribes.
DOMINICAN WINTER LEAGUE
Gigantes over Aguilas 4-1
Jimmy Paredes got a start in left field for the Gigantes and basically gave them the win as he went 1-for-4 with the "1" being of the Grand Slam variety in the top of the ninth.
