ARIZONA FALL LEAGUE

Surprise over Mesa 7-0
DH Jon Singleton was 0-for-4 and RF George Springer was 0-for-3 with a walk. Springer also grounded into a double play, but redeemed himself somewhat by contributing an outfield assist. LHP Alex Sogard allowed two hits and no runs in his one inning of work.

La Guaira over Caracas 9-5
CF Brandon Barnes was 0-for-4 for Caracas.

Caribes 2 and Lara 0 - suspended after three innings
RF Jake Goebbert was 0-for-1 with a walk and a strikeout.

Magallanes over Aragua 8-4
2B Jose Martinez was 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a sac fly RBI for Aragua. He also struck out once and committed his first error of the season. According to Baseball America's transactions report from yesterday, Martinez has re-signed with the Astros.

DOMINICAN WINTER LEAGUE

Aguilas over Gigantes 8-4
DH Jimmy Paredes was 2-for-4 with a two-run single and a two-run double. That makes seven RBI in his last two games. *RHP Erick Abreu pitched one and two-thirds innings and gave up two runs on two hits with a strikeout. He was charged with his first blown save of the season.

Escogido over Licey 10-7
RF Domingo Santana was 0-for-3 with a walk for Licey.

MEXICAN PACIFIC WINTER LEAGUE

Hermosillo over Mexicali 7-3
