No Astros players played in the Dominican last night. Jimmy Paredes has not returned to the lineup since his car accident a few days ago in which he reportedly received minor injuries to his arm.
PUERTO RICAN WINTER LEAGUE
Carolina over Ponce 7-2
Kiké Hernandez got the start at third for Carolina and went 2-for-5 with a double, a strikeout and scored two runs. In his last 10 games Hernandez is hitting .417/.447/.667. C Carlos Corproran also had two hits, struck out once and scored once while teammate SS Carlos Correa went 1-for-4 with a strikeout, scored a run and stole his first base of the winter season.
