PUERTO RICAN WINTER LEAGUE

Carolina over Santurce 7-6
C Carlos Corporan was right smack in the middle of a six-run sixth inning comeback for Carolina, providing a pinch-hit two-run double as Carolina went to 2-3 in the round robin playoffs. 2B Kiké Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a walk before being moved to third base in the late innings. C Rene Garcia was hitless in two at-bats. Jobduan Morales got the start at first base and later moved behind the dish. He was 1-for-4 with a strikeout, a run scored and a stolen base. RHP Raul Rivera was the beneficiary of the big six-run inning as he won the game in relief after allowing one run on two hits and a walk in his inning of work.
