Spring Training Update

'Stros Tie! 'Stros Tie! 'Stros Tie! It may not be glamorous, but it beats losing. It was a nice combination of speed plus power. Delino DeShields came in to pinch run for Brett Wallace, promptly stole second base, took third on a throwing error and scored on a wild pitch. That is how to manufacture runs. Add in a little home run power from Fernando Martinez, with a solo shot in the second, and Jason Castro with a two-run dinger in the fourth and the offense is looking good early.

Spring Training Game 2 Results: Astros 7, Mets 7
Game 2 Minor League Standout: George Springer came in to pinch run for Rick Ankiel and scored on the Jason Castro homer. He stayed in to play centerfield and drew two walks before hitting an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game.
