With nine walks issued by the pitching staff, wild pitches from Jarred Cosart, Alex White and Jose Cisnero and 15 strikeouts from the hitters, perhaps the less we say about this one the better. Cosart had an uneven performance, but I'm not the least bit worried about him; it's all a part of his development. Even with all the strikeouts, four of the seven Astros hits were for extra bases including Justin Maxwell's first home run of the spring.

Spring Training Game 11 Results: Tigers 8, Astros 5
Game 11 Minor League Standouts: I have to give a shoutout to two former Corpus Christi Hooks who stepped up nicely out of the bullpen. RHP Josh Zeid came in with the bases juiced and no outs and managed to limit the damage to one run which scored on a double play. He allowed no hits, walked one and struck out one in his inning of work. LHP Kevin Chapman came in to get a key out in the fifth and stayed in for the sixth, allowing no hits and no walks.
