RHP Elieser Hernandez (18)
A non-drafted free agent from Venezuela, Hernandez spent his first season in the Houston organization pitching for the DSL Astros. In 12 appearances (eight starts), he was 1-4 with a 4.11 ERA, a 1.286 WHIP and two saves. He walked only eight batters in 35 innings while striking out 25.

2B/OF Davey Lopes (68)
Drafted by the Dodgers in the second round in 1968, Lopes played in 84 games for Houston at the end of his career in 1986 and 1987. Lopes was a four-time All Star and one-time Gold Glove winner with the Dodgers, and also appeared in four World Series with the team. A career .268 hitter, Lopes was known more for his stolen base prowess than his batting as he swiped 557 in 16 seasons and led the league in steals in 1975 (77) and 1976 (63).
