Scribner recently signed with the Astros as a non-drafted free agent out of Sacred Heart. In three appearances (one start) for the GCL Astros this season, he is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and a 0.720 WHIP.
Astros Broadcaster Steve Sparks (48)
Steve Sparks never pitched for the Astros, but he has become an honorary Astro as he first provided analysis for the Astros on FSN before becoming a radio announcer for the team. When he did pitch, he was a knuckleballer ... according to baseball, only one of seven true knuckleballers in the 21st century. His career was temporarily sidetracked when he hurt his shoulder trying to tear a phonebook in half.
