Astros Minor League Playoffs - 9/3 Update

The regular season is over for all Astros affiliates except Tri-City (they end their regular season on Wednesday). And it was a VERY good day in Astros minor league land yesterday with wins all around. Here is where things ended up for the regular season and where they stand for the playoffs.

Today's Playoff Games

Tri-City
The ValleyCats are the only Astros team for which a playoff determination has yet to be made, but their win on Monday and Lowell's loss reduced Tri-City's magic number to clinch a playoff berth to ONE with two games left to play. They are still in first place in the division and have extended their lead over Lowell to a game and a half. A 'Cats win or a Lowell loss tonight would put Tri-City in the playoffs.

Greeneville - Finished Second in the Division
