Astros Fall and Winter League Recaps

Saturday's Games

ARIZONA FALL LEAGUE

Salt River over Peoria 20-0
No, that is not a typo. It's not supposed to read 2-0. It really was 20-0. Really. It was actually 8-0 after six innings which, although not terrific, is not unusual. Then 12 runs scored in the final three innings, five in the seventh (helped in large part by a grand slam) and five in the ninth (helped in large part by two errors). Andrew Robinson gave up the five in the ninth, but all were unearned; however, he doesn't get a complete pass because he did walk a pair.

  1. What happened to Owens this year? I see he only pitched in five games for OKC.

    1. He had a broken foot or ankle, if memory serves ... some lower extremity. He spent most of the season healing and then rehabbing in Florida.
