OF Edward Santana (19)
A NDFA from the Dominican Republic, Santana appeared in a grand total of two games for the DSL Astros in June 2012 as a pinch runner/defensive replacement. He never got an at-bat. He is currently listed as being on the 60-day DL. And that is the sum total of everything I know about Santana.
OF Michael Burgess (25)
Originally drafted in the first round by Washington in 2007, Burgess came to the Astros system in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft in December 2012. In 98 games for Corpus Christi this season, he hit .203/.278/.378 with 20 doubles, 12 home runs and 42 RBI.

RHP Jose Veras (33)
Originally signed as a non-drafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 1998, Veras signed with Houston as a free agent in December 2012. He pitched in 42 games with a 2.93 ERA, 1.000 WHIP and 19 saves before being traded to Detroit in July 2013 for OF Danry Vasquez and RHP David Paulino. Detroit is now the seventh team for which Veras has played.
