Lancaster Hitting Coach Darryl Robinson (46)
Robinson has served as the hitting coach for the Lancaster JetHawks for the past five seasons. In 2013, he earned the California League Coach of the Year award.
RHP Jesus Castillo (22)
Castillo was signed as a non-drafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic and joined the 2012 DSL team in progress. In six appearances in August, he pitched 11.1 innings with a 2.38 ERA and a 1.412 WHIP. He did not pitch in 2013.
One former Astro celebrates today ~
RHP Mark Grant (50)
A first round pick by the Giants in 1981, Grant signed with Houston as a free agent in January of 1993. Less than four months later, he was traded to the Rockies. In the interim, he pitched in 6 games for the Astros with a 0.82 ERA and a 1.455 WHIP.
