RHP Ryan Connolly (23)
Signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Astros in June 2013, Connolly spent his first professional season with the Greeneville Astros. In 20 appearances out of the bullpen, he was 1-2 with a 5.22 ERA and a 1.670 WHIP.
OF Eric Thames (27)
Originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the seventh round in 2008, Thames was claimed by Houston off waivers from Baltimore in September 2013 and, although he was assigned to Oklahoma City, he only played in one game. In the final post-season game, he went two-for-four with a home run, walk and two runs scored. Thames has played in 181 games at the major league level in 2011 and 2012 (for Toronto and Seattle), hitting .250/.296/.341 with 36 doubles, eight triples and 21 home runs. Thames just showed up on the roster for Caracas in the Liga Venezuela Beisbol Profesional this past week.
C Matt Pagnozzi (31)
Originally drafted by the Cardinals in the eighth round in 2003, Pagnozzi was purchased from Atlanta in September 2013 and appeared in nine games for the Astros that month, hitting .143/.182/.143. He was outrighted to Oklahoma City after the season and is currently a free agent.
