CORPUS CHRISTI UPDATE
As anticipated, OF Delino DeShields has been placed on the 7-day DL. If you somehow missed what happened to him, you can see what happens when a 90 mph fastball meets the human face here, but frankly I just don't want to look at it anymore. OF Chris Epps, who had been on the DL, was activated to take his place. Get well soon, Delino!

Steve Batterson of the Quad-City Times reports that Thomas Lindauer and Alex Gonzalez will join the team today from extended spring training. It's a homecoming for Lindauer, who is a native of Moline, Illinois.
