Beat the Streak, April 18

So, what happened yesterday? I saw my streak come to an end as Jon Singleton went 0-5.

Lee White had Preston Tucker deliver a home run, but.... he also chose Singleton, so it's back to the start for him too. I originally wanted to be a little more lenient with doubling down, but that might have violated the spirit of the game. Wouldn't be right to have one player go hitless, but another get one to extend a streak.

Jayne got a bunt single from Brett Phillips, and she has taken sole possession of the top spot. Nance saw Jio Mier and Domingo Santana go hitless. Thomas Marr (@Thomas_Marr) had Kiké Hernandez as his guy, and he delivered in a solid AAA debut. Rip Noblin also went with Tucker, so he's on the board for the first time this season. And finally, Matthew Naber (@HideTheMuddler) of House of Houston got himself going with Austin Wates. Jeff Blogwell didn't pick yesterday, so.... he probably should, if he wants to keep his 1-game streak alive.

Today, I'll be going with a pair of 2013 draftees: Tony Kemp again, and Quad Cities CF James Ramsay.

Today's Schedule

OKC @ Colorado Springs, 7:35
Corpus Christi @ Frisco, 7:05
Lancaster vs. High Desert, 8:30
Quad Cities vs. South Bend, 7:00

CURRENT ACTIVE STREAKS

Jayne Hansen- 3

Thomas Marr, Matt Naber, Rip Noblin- all tied at 1
