Beat the Streak, April 25

Well, it seems that we've got a new leader. It's not me. Jon Singleton went hitless, and Andrew Aplin got the night off. I originally chose Quad Cities 1B Conrad Gregor, but the River Bandits were rained out. And so, I'm still at 0.

Jayne saw her 7-game hitting streak end as Roberto Peña and the Lancaster offense was shackled by Inland Empire.

pacbellpilgrim got off the canvas with Tony Kemp and Preston Tucker coming through.

I was obviously suffering from the no-sleep headache yesterday, because I forgot that Matt Naber picked Preston Tucker on Wednesday, who was 0-3 that night. No matter, he still got himself going again with a Rio Ruiz single.

Thomas Marr is back at the start as Enrique Hernandez went 0-4.

And your new leader is..... Rip Noblin, who got hits from Gregorio Petit and Jio Mier for a successful double down. He's now at 3.

Today, I'll be sticking with Jon Singleton as one-half of my double down; the other half will be Brett Phillips.

Today's Schedule

OKC vs. Nashville, 7:05
Corpus Christi vs. Frisco, 7:10
Lancaster @ Rancho Cucamonga, 9:05
Quad Cities @ Peoria, 6:30

Current Active Streaks

Rip Noblin- 3

pacbellpilgrim- 2

Matt Naber- 1

  2. I'll take Conrad Gregor.

Suggestion - could we keep the "reigning champ" listed each day (so - Jayne's 7)? That will give us all something to aim for.
