Beat the Streak, April 30

Tony Kemp got the day off and Domingo Santana went 0-3 with 2 strikeouts yesterday. Well, at least I'll have some company. How long I get to keep that company remains to be seen.

Again, we've got a new leader, and it's Rip Noblin, who got a single from Rio Ruiz to extend his streak to 4. Daniel Nelson got 2 from Matt Duffy, but Robbie Grossman's 0-3 line sent him back to square 1. He would've topped Jayne and set a new season-high streak.

Jayne's also back to the start, as she picked Jonathan Meyer. Multi-hit nights from Duffy and Brandon Meredith has pacbellpilgrim in 2nd place.

Today, for this final day of April, I will go with a pair of CFs from the 2012 draft class: Andrew Aplin and Brett Phillips.

Today's Schedule

OKC vs. Round Rock, 7:05
Corpus Christi @ Midland, 11:00 A.M.
Lancaster vs. High Desert, 8:30
Quad Cities vs. Clinton, 6:00 (doubleheader game 1)

Current Active Streaks

Rip Noblin- 4

pacbellpilgrim- 3

  1. I seem to be having a hard time getting a new streak going myself. Today I've got Jon Singleton and Brandon Meredith.

Rip is going with Andy Simunic and Tony Kemp.

  3. Going with Perdomo and Gregor for a double down. I would have picked Fontana but forgot the Hooks had an early game.
