Beat the Streak, May 24

I'm back in the game with Domingo Santana and Matt Duffy!

Jayne got a single from Teoscar Hernandez, but Carlos Correa drew a blank. He did walk twice, though. Daniel Nelson's 6-game streak came to an end as Tony Kemp went 0-4. Andrew Aplin did have an RBI, but it was on a groundout, and he went 0-3, putting an end to pacbellpilgrim's 4-gamer. Baseball Mom got a big night from Brett Phillips, but that darn rule about a double down player getting a day off = streak over strikes again. Sorry about that.

Matt Naber and Rip Noblin saw their streaks continue with Brian Holberton and Jack Mayfield, respectively.

I'll go with Preston Tucker today. He's been in a bit of a funk, but I have a good feeling about him tonight.

  1. I'm feeling an Andrew Aplin/Preston Tucker combo is in order.
