Beat the Streak, May 9

Yeah, I'm slipping. I had a final exam yesterday and this totally slipped my mind. Here's another +1 day for everyone!

Well, I chose Domingo Santana on Wednesday, and he went 0-4. Jayne went with Jack Mayfield, and although he drove in a run, walked twice, and scored, he was 0-3. Baseball Mom stuck with Brett Phillips, and while he did score twice, he didn't reach base via hit, going 0-2.

pacbellpilgrim was the beneficiary of Teoscar Hernandez's tear at the plate, although he only (only) went 1-3.

Yesterday, Daniel Nelson chose Jon Singleton and Tyler White. All they did was take the AAA homer lead (Singleton) and deliver a 3rd consecutive multi-hit game (White). So we have a new king of the mountain entering tonight's games. Rip Noblin got half of a double down with Rio Ruiz going 1-5, but Dan Gulbransen was 0-4.

Today, I'll go with Ronald Torreyes.
