Happy Birthday - 5/8

No future Astros with birthdays today, but two former Astros mark the day ~

LHP Mike Cuellar (died April 2, 2010 at 72)
The Cuban born Cuellar was signed by Cincinnati in 1957 and came to Houston in a trade with the Cardinals in June 1965. In 127 games (88 starts) for Houston from 1965 to 1968, Cuellar was 37-36 with a 2.73 ERA and a 1.162 WHIP (with one All Star nod) before being traded to Baltimore. In eight seasons with Baltimore, Cuellar was a three-time All Star winner and one-time Cy Young Winner.

2B Dave Rohde (50)
Drafted in the 5th round by Houston in 1986, Rohde played in 88 games for Houston in 1990 and 1991. Despite hitting .353 at AAA in 1990 and .372 in AAA in 1991, he only managed a collective .165 batting average during his time in Houston during those two seasons.
