The Hooks were held to seven hits and three walks. Two of the walks came from Andrew Aplin. Rene Garcia scored the winning run after reaching base on a force out, advancing to third on a Carlos Perdomo single and coming home on a wild pitch.

The Hooks were held to ONE HIT, but still managed to score two runs. In the second, Carlos Perdomo reached on a fielders choice, advanced to second as Jio Mier drew a walk and scored from second on a single from Rene Garcia, the only hit for the Hooks. In the third, Delino DeShields drew a walk, advanced to THIRD on a Ruben Sosa sac bunt and scored on a Nolan Fontana sac fly.
