Oklahoma City 7, Memphis 5
W- Paul Clemens (5-1)
L- Brent Leach (4-2)
S- Kevin Chapman (7)
OKC home runs: None.
The RedHawks earned the split thanks to some clutch hitting in the 8th. They broke a 3-3 tie with a pair in the 7th, only to see Nashville re-tie the game with 2 in the top of the 8th.
Marc Krauss opened up the scoring with an RBI groundout in the 1st. Later in the inning, Preston Tucker ripped an RBI double. Austin Wates went 3-5 with a double, 2 RBI singles, and 2 runs scored. His first RBI single came in the 2nd. The other one came in the 7th. He then stole 2nd (27) and scored on an RBI single from Jonathan Villar.
The tie wouldn't last very long, as a pair of RBI singles from Carlos Perez and Jio Mier in the bottom of the 8th put OKC back in front. Tucker finished 2-4.
Rudy Owens allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. Pat Urckfitz got 2 outs in the 7th, 1 via strikeout, and allowed a run on 3 hits. Paul Clemens went 1.1 innings and allowed a 2-run homer to Hector Gomez in the 8th. That was the only hit that he allowed, and he walked 1. Kevin Chapman worked around a hit to close it out, striking out 2 in the 9th.
Tonight, the RedHawks will begin a 4-game series with Round Rock. Mike Foltynewicz will get the start, and he'll face Luke Jackson. First pitch is at 7:05.
Frisco 3, Corpus Christi 2
W- Francisco Mendoza (3-1)
L- Mike Hauschild (1-6, 3-7 season)
S- Will Lamb (2)
CC home runs: None.
The Hooks had to settle for the split as some late miscues doomed them, allowing the Roughriders to snatch another victory from right under their noses. Having 1 hit after the 5th inning did not help their cause, either.
Delino DeShields drove in both Hooks runs; he hit a sac fly in the 3rd and added an RBI triple in the 5th. He also stole a base, giving him 41 on the season.
David Rollins went 5 and allowed a run on 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. Mike Hauschild allowed 2 unearned runs on 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2 in 2 innings, and R.J. Alaniz worked around a walk to throw a scoreless 8th.
The Hooks will travel to San Antonio, where they'll have 3 games with the Missions. In the opener, Jordan Jankowski will take on Jesse Hahn. First pitch is at 7:05.

W- Josh Hader (9-1)
L- Matt Flemer (8-7)
S- Evan Grills (1, 2 season)
Lancaster home runs: Conrad Gregor (12, 13 season; 2-run in 5th)
Josh Hader continued his incredible season with 5 shutout innings. The offense backed him up with 2 big innings, and Evan Grills kept the Nuts in check.
Hader allowed 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7 over 5 shutout innings. He's the 2nd pitcher in the system to record 100 strikeouts this season after Kyle Smith. He actually took over the lead from Smith (Hader 105, Smith 102). Grills allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 5 hits (solo homer) and struck out 4 over the final 4 innings.
The JetHawks got 3 in the 4th thanks to an RBI groundout from Rio Ruiz, an RBI double from Danry Vásquez, and an RBI single from Tyler White. Conrad Gregor connected for a 2-run shot in the 5th, giving him 13 homers on the season. He finished 2-4 on the night, as did Roberto Peña. Quad Cities 2, Lake County 1
W- Edison Frias (6-5)
L- Jordan Milbrath (3-10)
S- Blaine Sims (1)
QC home runs: None.
The River Bandits got another great performance from their pitchers, although it got a little bit too close for comfort in the 9th inning.
Edison Frias started it off with 5 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits, walking 2, and striking out 3. Blaine Sims allowed a run on 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3 in 4 innings. Sims struck out Clint Frazier to open the 9th. Then, he walked Mike Papi and Nelson Rodriguez, who was lifted for a pinch-runner. He got Paul Hendrix to ground into a force out for the 2nd out, but an error from Marc Wik allowed Papi to score the Captains' first run. Sims then allowed a single to Dorssys Paulino, but Ronnie Mitchell saved the win as his throw from left arrived home in time to nail Hendrix for the final out.
Chase McDonald singled to lead off the 4th and advanced to 3rd on Brian Holberton's single. Jake Rodriguez laid down a nice sac bunt to bring McDonald home for the game's first run. Mitchell finished 2-4 with an RBI double in the 5th. He had a 9-game hitting streak snapped on Saturday, but he got himself back on track with this performance. J.D. Davis went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a run scored.
The Banditos will go for the sweep this afternoon, as Adrian Houser will take the mound. He'll face Caleb Hamrick at 1:00.

W- Austin Chrismon (4-2)
L- Fernando Baez (2-1)
TC home runs: None.
The Spikes got on the board first, but the ValleyCats had the final say in this one as all 12 of their runs were unanswered.
Juan Santana put Tri-City on the board with an RBI double in the 3rd. Jamie Ritchie added an RBI double of his own in the 4th, and Santana struck again as he cleared the bases with his 2nd double of the game. In the 5th, Ritchie drew a bases-loaded walk, Ariel Ovando reached on an error that scored D.J. Fisher, and Mott Hyde added a sac fly. Santana drove in his 5th run with a sac fly in the 7th.
