Astros Minor League Roster Moves/Transactions

Once again (surprise, surprise), I'm behind on reporting Astros minor league roster moves. Everyone is probably aware that SS Jonathan Villar and LHP Kevin Chapman were both optioned to Oklahoma City after Tuesday's Astros game, but here are a few other moves that you may or may not know about.

OKLAHOMA CITY
7/1 - 1B Erik Castro released

RHP Nick Tropeano, SS Gregorio Petit and C Max Stassi were named to the AAA All-Star team. The game will take place July 16th in Durham, North Carolina. MiLB has the story here.

7/1 - RHP Lance McCullers activated from the DL

QUAD CITIES
7/1 - IF Dayne Parker assigned from Tri-City to Quad Cities

GCL
7/2 - OF Derek Fisher (2014 37th overall draft pick) assigned to the GCL
7/2 - LHP Cristhopher Santamaria assigned from the DSL to the GCL (Santamaria was one of my Pitcher of the Month nominees for June.)
