Scribner signed with the Astros as a non-drafted free agent in 2013 out of Sacred Heart. In four starts for Tri-City this season, he is 2-1 with a 1.00 ERA and a 0.667 WHIP.
RHP Brock Dykxhoorn (20)
Drafted by the Astros in the 6th round in 2014 out of Central Arizona College, Dykxhoorn only recently started his professional career with the Greeneville Astros. In 3 appearances (4.0 innings), he has a 9.00 ERA and a 2.250 WHIP.
Astros Broadcaster Steve Sparks

Steve Sparks never pitched for the Astros, but he has become an honorary Astro as he first provided analysis for the Astros on FSN before becoming a radio announcer for the team. When he did pitch, he was a knuckleballer ... according to baseball, only one of seven true knuckleballers in the 21st century. His career was temporarily sidetracked when he hurt his shoulder trying to tear a phonebook in half.
