Aragua walked off with the win, thanks to Jose Martinez's blast in the bottom of the 9th.
For Caracas, Danry Vásquez went 0-2.
After a day off, the Lions will be back in action when they host Lara tomorrow night.
LIDOM
Gigantes 8, Águilas 6

Gigantes closed the game on a 7-0 run as they pounded out 16 hits to beat their chief rivals in a game where no pitcher went more than 2.2 innings.
Jandel Gustave was the 5th Gigantes pitcher; he got the win after throwing 1.1 scoreless, allowing a hit and striking out 2.
Jonathan Villar went 2-4 with an RBI single in the 3rd for Águilas.
In the only LIDOM game today, Gigantes will take on Escogido at 7:30 Atlantic.
Escogido 8, Licey 6
W- Claudio Galva (1-0)
L- Randall Delgado (0-2)
S- Stephen Kohlscheen (5)
Licey HRs by Astros players: None.
In the Capital Derby, Escogido jumped out to a 6-0 lead after 2.5 innings, and that cushion held up despite Licey's charge.
Domingo Santana went 1-2 with 2 walks and a run scored, and Ruben Sosa entered to pinch-run for him in the 8th.
Licey has Monday off, while, as mentioned above, Escogido will host Gigantes tonight.
Toros 8, Estrellas 0
W- Dylan Axelrod (2-0)
L- Ryan Rowland-Smith (1-1)
Toros HRs by Astros players: None.
Toros just dominated Estrellas in every facet of the game. Teoscar Hernandez went 2-5 with an RBI single in the 3rd and scored a run.
LIGA MEXICANA DEL PACÍFICO
Los Mochis 6, Jalisco 3
W- Tomas Solis (2-1)
L- Murphy Smith (0-1)
Jalisco HRs by Astros players: Japhet Amador (4, solo in 6th)
Los Mochis doubled up Jalisco on the strength of a 4-run 2nd inning. Japhet Amador was a bright spot for the Jalisco offense as he went 2-4 with a solo homer in the 6th inning.
The entire LMP is off today.
LIGA DE BÉISBOL PROFESIONAL ROBERTO CLEMENTE
Carolina 9, Caguas 4
W- J.C. Romero (1-0)
L- Saul Rivera (0-1)
Carolina HRs by Astros players: None.
Carolina blew the lid off of this game when they broke a 4-4 tie with 5 in the top of the 9th. Carlos Corporán went 0-3, but he chipped in with 2 sac flies for Carolina. Jobduan Morales finished 0-5 with 2 strikeouts.
Raul Rivera made his debut for Carolina in the 5th with no outs and a runner on; he worked around a hit to throw a scoreless frame and struck out 2.
Puerto Rico is also off today.
Mayagüez 12, San Juan 6
W- Jordan Hershiser (1-0)
L- Reinier Roibal (0-1)
San Juan HRs by Astros players: None.
San Juan is a new team; they are taking the place of Ponce, which is on hiatus.
Nolan Fontana appeared as a pinch-hitter in the 9th and was plunked.
