According to Baseball America, the following four Astros minor league pitchers have been released:
LHP Kyle Gehrs
LHP J.D. Osborne
RHP Patrick Christensen
RHP Aaron Vaughn
The only one that I'm really surprised about is Vaughn. He had an outstanding first season and I was hoping to see more of him.
I have updated the Off-Season Transaction list here to reflect those changes.
In addition, Darin Downs was outrighted to Fresno yesterday and the Astros 40-man roster now stands at 39.
