And now, Jalisco waits.

PROBEIS PANAMA

Caballos 9, Industriales 8 in 11 innings

This one got wild late... Industriales put up 5 in the top of the 9th to take a 7-3 lead, but Caballos had a rally in the tank and answered with 4 in the bottom of the inning to send the game into extras. The 10th was quiet, but Industriales pulled ahead with a run in the top of the 11th. Caballos, however, had one more rally left in them, and they walked off with the win.

Jack Mayfield finished 2-4 with a 2-run homer in the 8th, which gave Caballos a 3-2 lead at that point. Tyler White and Telvin Nash both went 0-4 and drew a walk.

Caballos will face Indios tonight at 7:00 Eastern.

Game 1: Indios 5, Águilas 4

Rodrigo Ayarza clubbed a 2-run homer in his only at-bat. It happened in either the 2nd or the 3rd inning, because Indios scored 2 runs in those frames.

Game 2: Águilas 5, Indios 3

Águilas scored 3 in the top of the 7th to get the split in the twinbill. This was supposed to be the opening fixture of the season all the way back on December 15, but it got rained out.

Harold Arauz got the start for Águilas and allowed 2 runs on 7 hits (1 homer) and struck out 4 over 5.2 innings of work. Juan Delis pitched the 7th for Indios and allowed an unearned run, a hit, and walked 1. He allowed 2 runners he inherited from Indios starter Julio Denis to score in the inning.

Águilas will take on Industriales tonight. First pitch is at 7:00 Eastern.
