Drafted by Houston in the 20th round in 2014, Woodward spent his first season playing for the Greeneville Astros. In 27 games, he hit .234/.364/.394 with seven doubles, one triple and two home runs.

Signed by the Astros as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 1971, Javier played in only eight games for Houston in 1976, hitting .208/.269/.208.
C/1B Chris Coste (42)
Selected off waivers from the Phillies in July 2009, Coste played in 43 games for the Astros that season, hitting .204/.259/.252. Coste won a World Series with the Phillies in 2008. He is currently the Head Coach for his alma mater, Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.
