Martinez was born June 21, 1995 in Nagua, Dominican Republic, and was signed by the Astros in May 2014. He is currently playing in the Dominican Summer League.

Mitchell was born June 21, 1991 in Southlake, Texas, and was drafted by Houston in the 38th round in 2013 out of Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas. He is currently playing for the High A Lancaster JetHawks team.
