Martinez was born July 6, 1998 in Sabana Perdida, Dominican Republic, and was signed by the Astros in July 2014. He is currently playing on the Orange team for the Dominican Summer League Astros.
Manager Marty Malloy (43)
Malloy is in his second year at the helm of the Gulf Coast League Astros after having previously served as the hitting coach for the team.
Baseball-Reference has Malloy's birthday as April 6th but the GCL roster says July 6th so I'm going with July!
