Astros Farm Report: 10/11

The postseason officially returns to Houston later today and it's hard to focus on anything else, but there are a few things going on in the Astros minor leagues. Let's start with the upcoming birthdays for this week.

Honestly, I haven't been paying very close attention to the transaction pages since the season ended, but I think the only thing I missed was that Fresno OF Alex Presley elected free agency last week. [UPDATE: OF L.J. Hoes also elected free agency.]

FALL/WINTER LEAGUES

The Australian Baseball League doesn't start until October 23rd (exhibition games will start this week), but we know of at least two Astros minor leaguers that will be playing down under according to this article on the Adelaide Bite's website.
