None of the pitchers from the 2016 draft have pitched yet for Tri-City, but several of the position players have. Here is what they've done through their first two games (SPOILER ALERT: They've been prettay, prettay good in this teeny-tiny sample size).

Want to know more about some of the Latin players assigned to the Tri-City team? The 2016 Houston Farm System Handbook has profiles on Brauly Mejia, Marcos Almonte, Randy Cesar, Hector Perez, Erasmo Pinales, Enrique Chavez and more!!!

RANDOM FORMER ASTROS UPDATE

I'm going to start checking in on a former Astros farmhand (and/or major leaguer) and see what they're up to. Today, let's see how Astros 2013 26th round draft pick Austin Chrismon is doing these days. After being released by the Astros in March of this year, Chrismon wasted no time in getting picked up by the Ottawa Champions in the Canadian-American Independent League. Austin has had nice success with the Champions and currently has a 2-2 record in six starts and sports a 2.00 ERA and a 1.250 WHIP in 36 innings of work.
