ROSTER MOVES/TRANSACTIONS

RHP Charlie Morton was signed by the Astros via free agency and was placed on the 40-man roster which now stands at 38.

LHP Evan Grills, a minor league free agent who was originally drafted by the Astros in the 10th round in 2010, was signed by the Rockies.

The Arizona Fall League regular season comes to an end today with 5 of 6 teams still vying for a chance to play in the Championship game on Saturday. This post outlines all of the scenarios, but in a nutshell, if Surprise loses their game today and Glendale wins theirs, there will be a few Astros playing for the Championship. The game will be televised on MLB Network starting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
