There was only one game in the system Tuesday night and Buies Creek fell to the Down East Wood Ducks by a score of 3-1.
Ronnie Dawson doubled in the 2nd and scored the Carolina Stros' only run of the evening on a single from Cody Bohanek. Bryan de la Cruz finished 2-4 with a double.
Brady Rodgers and Abdiel Saldaña both threw four innings in this game. Rodgers allowed a run on three hits and struck out one and Saldaña suffered his first loss of the season, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out five. Jesús Balaguer struck out one in a 1-2-3 9th.
Game three of this series begins at 6:00 Eastern.
