Meet the Gulf Coast League Astros

The Gulf Coast League Astros began play today against the Marlins. Their home park is the Spring Training complex at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. They're in the East division with the Cardinals, Mets, Marlins, and Nationals. Every game they play will be against these four teams; the divisions in the complex leagues do not interact with each other until the playoffs.

For many draftees, this is their first stop on the road to Houston. For others, it's their first time playing professional baseball in the United States. There's a healthy mix of draft picks, international signings making their U.S. debuts, and a few guys who got into games elsewhere in the system before their ultimate assignment to the Gulf Coast League.

Let's meet the 2019 Gulf Coast League Astros!
