In a combined 34 appearances, he was 2-2 with a 3.62 ERA and a 1.006 WHIP. He walked 10 and struck out 67 in 59.2 innings.

Signed as a non-drafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic, Rodriguez pitched effectively in 5 starts in 2010 with the DSL, going 2-1 with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.056 WHIP. However, he sat out most of 2011 and only pitched 3.2 inning in 4 appearances in August with the GCL Astros with poor results. I'm assuming that he was rehabbing from an injury and hope to see him back to his 2010 form.
