RHP Luis Abad (19)
Signed as a non-drafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 2010, Abad has spent the last two seasons pitching for the DSL Astros. In 14 games (five starts) in 2012, he had a 7.96 ERA and a 1.885 WHIP over 26 innings pitched. His 9.3 SO/9 was quite good, but he'll have to do something about that pesky little 10.7 BB/9.

Signed as a non-drafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 2010, Abad started 12 games for the DSL Astros in 2011. He was 0-4 with a 5.29 ERA and a 1.794 WHIP in 34 innings pitched. He had 7.1 SO/9 but the 10.3 BB/9 might be a bit of an issue. Since he was only 17 at the time, I think we'll have to cut him some slack.
